The Beginning

A Personal Journey That
Became a Mission.

When I went through JEE admissions myself, I experienced something that millions of students face every year — complete confusion. There were no clear answers, no reliable guidance, and no one who would explain how the counselling process actually works.

I watched students around me — smart, hardworking students — end up in colleges far below what their rank deserved. Not because they lacked merit, but because they lacked information. They didn't know how to fill choices correctly. They didn't know which counselling to apply for. They didn't know the rules of the game.

That experience stayed with me. In 2017, I started the Career Margdarshan YouTube channel — not as a business, but as a response to a problem I had lived through. I simply wanted to give students the information I wish someone had given me.

When we started in 2017, Career Margdarshan was just a YouTube channel — a camera, a student, and honest answers about JEE admissions. No fancy setup. No big team. Just the belief that every student who has worked hard for their rank deserves to make the most of it.

Over the years, I have spoken to hundreds of students after counselling was over — students who realised too late that they had filled choices in the wrong order, missed a counselling they were eligible for, or simply didn't know a better option existed. Every one of those conversations made me more certain that what we are doing matters.

Today, Career Margdarshan has guided 50,000+ students through one-on-one counselling and group programs. Our videos have reached over 90 lakh students across India. But the mission has never changed — give every student the same quality of information and guidance, regardless of where they come from or who they know.

Started with one mission — to give JEE students clear, honest answers about engineering admissions. The channel was a direct response to the confusion and misinformation that costs students their deserving colleges every year.

As the YouTube community grew, students started reaching out for personal guidance. We launched structured one-on-one JEE counselling — the first step from content to active student support.

We built our first data-backed college predictor tools — covering JoSAA, CSAB, and state counsellings. Students could now get accurate predictions based on real cutoff data, not guesswork.
